EmberTab

Standalone Spigot 1.8.8 tab-list plugin based on the supplied EmberPVP configuration. It does not require NEZNAMY/TAB.

Requirements

• Spigot/Paper 1.8.8 and Java 8+
• LuckPerms 5.x (required)
• PlaceholderAPI (recommended for Factions, classes and tokens)
• Vault plus an economy provider (recommended for %money%)

Install

1. Remove TAB.jar and the earlier RankBridge.jar; do not run multiple tab/nametag plugins together.
2. Put EmberTab-1.0.0.jar in plugins/.
3. Keep LuckPerms installed. Install PlaceholderAPI/Vault when the configured values need them.
4. Start the server and edit plugins/EmberTab/config.yml.
5. Run /embertab reload.

Commands: /embertab reload, /embertab refresh, /embertab status.

The plugin uses the LuckPerms primary group to select a Groups entry, ignoring capitalization. PlaceholderAPI parses third-party placeholders. %online%, %ping%, %money%, %nick%, %vault_rank%, %health%, and %luckperms_prefix% are handled directly.

Minecraft 1.8 limits overhead team prefixes and suffixes to 16 characters each; EmberTab safely trims those values. Tab-list display names may also be shortened by a server implementation that retains the old 16-character limit.
